The Gold Medal of Work Merit, granted by the European Association of Economy and Competitiveness, acknowledges, rewards and celebrates the success of companies with an exemplary trajectory at a national and/or European level, along with companies that instate internships and initiatives that support the corporate spirit and awareness. This award is aimed at professionals from all industries within the European Economic Community (EEC) that comply with the above-mentioned requirements. Companies and professionals that receive this award turn into a model and referent in their sector at both a national and international level.
The 2018 medal ceremony took place on Friday, 16th of February at 9 pm at the Hotel Eurostars Suites Mirasierra.
The ceremony was hosted by the prestigious journalist Ana García Lozano, likewise counting with the presence of the President of the European Association of Economy and Competitiveness, José Luis Barceló, the Editor and Director of El Mundo Financiero, who was in charge of conferring the Medals and Golden Bows to the most outstanding companies and professionals within the European scope.
In this year’s edition, with the conferring of the Gold Medal, what was being acknowledged was Roberto Agustín Marcos’ entrepreneur spirit, with Roberto being the CEO of Cien por Cien PATA NEGRA S.L., our company and referent in the industry involving production, processing and commercialization of Ibérico Pig products, this in the words of the organization itself.
